Effective teaching cycle
I am excited to start a new semester with everyone. It is now time to buckle down and work hard. I hopefully will be able to graduate fall 2020. The near seems so far away but I am starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope everyone had a great Christmas break and happy New Year. A student is unable to be an effective learner without an effective teacher. They go hand in hand. Teachers are to plan a lesson, teach and constantly assess students. The effective teaching cycle is planning, instruction, and assessment. A teacher needs to plan an effective lesson that will support the students learning. The instruction is the learning environment and needs to be engaging. Lastly, the teacher needs to assess students learning, provide feedback and support. As I look back at my action plan from 251 my goal was to successfully write and teach task one through four of edTPA. I feel that after this semester I will learn more to successfully write and teach an edTPA lesson...
